item to look at from a supervisor's office and working with supervisor avalos we looked at what is good. the first one started out as appointment to commissions. in discussions with supervisor avalos there was interest to expand that and possibly turn this not just appointments to commissions but how -- when elected positions become open how does the process look compared to other jurisdictions and places around the country? so we expanded that topic. that is something that can be done in house by staff on this. the next item was jobs in the tech sector. after further discussion with supervisor avalos who brought this item up it was determined maybe hold off on this and revisit it in the future if something new comes up on that subject. >> i believe supervisor kim on the board of supervisors is looking at that issue and holding a public hearing on it. >> correct. so we will wait until something comes out of that process. tree maintenance and landscaping performed by the city. there is a meeting next week of a bunch of different stakeholders between city government and community
reached chart. my district and supervisor avalos's district is pretty paltry. it's not reflective of the district i represent. i am curious at how we should look at this and balance it out. >> first of all, only about half of the folks indicated that residential zip code. for about half the people, they chose to not indicate where they live. keep in mind that this map reflects the zip code of people who submitted a budget. we did a lot more outreach besides just offering the budget game. for instance, we went to in district 2, we went to fleet week, and fisherman's wharf cbd and other groups that include > fisherman's wharf cbd is in district 3. i am disappointed that -- i don't want to speak for commissioner avalos, that you would have at least obtain an equal number of respondents from each district. as i look at these results, the people who responded it should be a priority to have equal numbers from every district or something coming close to equal numbers. >> thank you for the feedback. this is one of the reasons we come to you and wanted to get that kind of input. w

when it's necessary. >> thank you. okay. so, we do have amendments before us. supervisor avalos? >> just a clarifying question. so, these future mitigation funds will be placed on controller reserve and the puc will not use funds in excess of 100,000 prior to report by controller to the boards of supervisors. is that a committee or a report we'll receive in our offices? just want to be clear about how that's expectation to be carried out. >> sure. i believe that that is the -- that would be, to clarify, i believe it's a report by the puc to the board of supervisors and not the controller. i think that's actually incorrect. it should be the puc to the board of supervisors. and then to the puc, would you be able to provide a report to the board? >> yes, we'll be able to provide that report to the board. >> is that the question you mean with the hearing? >> via hearing or just via report that we'll get a document. i just want to make sure that there is a real process * that we can verify is happening because we get reports all the time. they come across our desk. we might not see
